TrainSmart Adult Learning Certificate for Medical Device Educators
In this course, you will explore how best to design training for adult learners in order to increase both participant engagement and the retention of information. First, you’ll explore Malcom Knowles’s Principles of Andragogy and learn which activities you can implement to create training designed for adult learners. You will then continue to learn best practices for increasing retention in adult learners by exploring the brain’s processing channels and strategies and best practices for transferring knowledge to long-term memory. At the end of this course, you will implement activities within your training to meet the needs of adult learners based on the science and theory of adult brain science.
Graphic Design for Medical Device Educators
Well-designed PowerPoint slides can help both with participant engagement and retention of information. In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to Design Principles, learn how to use slide masters & layouts to align with your brand and make your life easier, and acquire simple strategies for using images and icons to make your message pop. At the end of this session, you’ll know how to make PowerPoint work for you when designing slides to support your curriculum.
